A bright early morning...

"We need to help shops. Help local businesses. Help shoppers. And help local Communities. We need to fix e-commerce...it's all wrong".
It's May 2020, a cold, crisp, beautiful blue sky morning in Gerrards Cross, England. Standing at the end of the end of Packhorse Road (the main high street) is Yipp-e co-founder, Steve Weston. Takes the above photo. Where is everyone?
Admittedly it's a little bit early (8am) but this is a Saturday morning, and usually there's at least 20-30 people around. But today, there is nothing. Not a car. Not a lorry. No-one.
As Steve recalls: I remember thinking "Things need to change...We need to help shops. Help local businesses. And help shoppers. We need to fix e-commerce...it's all wrong".
And that was the start of Yipp-e's mission to help local people and the local community. Local shops, local businesses and local producers. Use e-commerce to help local shoppers, the local economy, and localy communities.
To be continued...
